I went to the grocery store this morning in pursuit of gouda and cheddar cheese. I was happy to find these items.
While going down the aisle, I passed a lady in a wheelchair wearing oxygen and her husband was getting the groceries for them. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “Go pray for her†I then instructed the Holy Spirit that it wasn’t the time or place!
I proceeded to the checkout with my finds when the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart again to go and pray for her. I turned back to go and find them and when I turned they were close by. I went to them and I said “Ma’am, the Holy Spirit told me to pray for you.†Both of them replied “Oh yes, please!â€
I took her hand and began to pray. They thanked me and I said be blessed and proceeded on my way. She said, “God has been good to me!â€
Even in her obvious weakened state she gave God praise. I left feeling so happy that God had used me.
Today I wasn’t dressed up or I didn’t even have my hair styled or makeup on but that wasn’t the important thing. Not only does the grocery store have food for the body, but the Holy Spirit may instruct you to stop and share some spiritual food.
I hope you will listen. I was the blessed one!
