Whitaker鈥檚 charges stemmed from an ongoing investigation from May 11. The JCPD received reports of a man exposing himself downtown. Assistance from the public and video evidence revealed Whitaker as the suspect, according to a press release.

The press release also stated another complaint was filed by a victim stating that on the same evening, a man grabbed them and pulled them into the bushes before attempting to remove their clothing. The victim escaped and identified Whitaker as the suspect.

Whitaker was charged by the JCPD around 10 p.m., June 8, and surrendered to law enforcement at the Washington County Detention Center, according to the press release.
