The victim, identified as Bud Burchfield, said he and the alleged shooter, William Milam, 60, lived together and had a dispute about bills and rent on Jan. 4. The next day, they had not spoken, but Milam approached Burchfield, pointed the gun at him and shot him as Burchfield tried to walk away, the news release states. Milam then fled the scene.

A warrant has been issued for Milam on charges of aggravated assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony.
