The law license of John Sidney McLellan, III, was transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Section 27.3 of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, the release states.

McLellan cannot practice law while on disability inactive status and must comply with the requirements of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 28, regarding the obligations and responsibilities of attorneys transferred to disability inactive status.

He can return to the practice of law after reinstatement by the Tennessee Supreme Court upon showing that his disability has been removed in accordance with Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Section 27.7, the release states.
