American citizens have the constitutional right to peacefully protest even to express views that are contrary to our government's foreign policies, but schools do not have to allow students or anyone else to stage a protest on their campuses. I think schools should ban their students from ever protesting on the campus or even near enough to be seen from the campus. And of course, students should never be allowed to protest during school hours when they are supposed to be attending class.

Students that are American citizens and choose to violate their school's ban on pretests on or near campus should be expelled. Students that are not American citizens and violate the ban should have their student visas revoked and be sent back to their own country. Before being admitted to a college, all students should be required to sign a document stating that they acknowledge the ban on campus protests and agree to forfeit any tuition refund if expelled for violating it.

State law should ban protests on or near school campuses by anyone that is not a student there, and school officials should call the police to arrest anyone that violates that law.

Schools should be respected as places of learning, and disruptions should not be allowed.
