I just returned from a trip to the recycle station near Ingles in Colonial Heights. Inside the mixed paper bin was a bicycle, lawn chairs, some sort of broken plastic wheeled vehicle, a window frame, several plastic tubs of household refuse, and many other unidentifiable non-mixed paper objects.
I’ve been recycling there since it opened, and this kind of abuse is getting worse.
In the recent past, in or near the bins, I’ve seen a baby carriage, a recliner, mattresses, and the list could go on.
If I were the recycler, I would be getting close to closing that station. That would inconvenience the many because of a few.
Isn’t there an effective low-cost way, with cameras for instance, to identify these abusers so they can be prosecuted?
Unless something is done, they will spoil it for the rest of us.

Use faith as a lens
Fear that the other candidate may win is one of the top reasons in deciding for whom to vote. In the last presidential race in 2016, polls showed 60% of likely voters said they were going to vote for Donald Trump so that Hillary Clinton would not win.
Today the election also has rumblings of poor judgment. Some early voters state they wish they could change their vote.
Don’t be lazy and be told what to think. Be independent thinkers who have inquiring minds and seek to understand truth through consideration of multiple viewpoints you trust. Use your faith as a lens to make the best decisions.
I voted for the best candidates based on trusted information sources. More importantly, I am going to renew my citizenship in the Kingdom and follow the One who I know is leading me in the right direction with love and truth.
