Eastman Chemical Company鈥檚 site in Longview, Texas will be exempt from an Environmental Protection Agency rule on toxic emissions for two years.聽
The temporary exemption was granted by the Trump administration on July 14. It exempts Eastman from complying with the 鈥淗ON Rule,鈥 which stands for Hazardous Organic National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants.
