Participants may don their best Derby attire and chasse (sort of dance) their way to The Glass House, 429 Bentley Lane, Bristol, Virginia, to enjoy race day festivities for the Kentucky Derby. Tasty morsels and mint juleps will await you inside, a news release said.

It also said participants won't miss a moment of race day with multiple televisions to capture the action.

"We will be awarding trophies to the best-dressed couple and best Derby hat," according to the release. "There will be several amazing raffle items. Tickets for the party are available at the Eventbrite link at the bottom of this article but are also available at the door."

Raffle tickets, like the entry tickets, are available at the party.

Both can be paid by card, check or cash.

The first event last year was success, according to the release. Bristol Ballet is a 501(c)3 organization chartered in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It relies heavily on donations to continue bringing dance education to students in Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia and beyond.

Bristol Ballet’s mission is to train and educate people about the art of dance, through exceptional ballet training for youth, and through productions for the public. Through its long history, the organization has served tens of thousands of young dancers and audience members.

Children are the main focus of its educational efforts; however, educating and entertaining all of the public are important, the release said.
